At Cakes by Renee you can partake in a unique collaboration between the customer and designer - where no two cakes are ever the same, just like your event.  Since our design process is highly customized, it is essential to know your budget for the cake prior to discussing ideas for a design.  This gives us design parameters and allows us to make a cake that best suits your needs.

We put in an immense amount of care and attention in to each cake we create.  Prices are determined by the complexity of the design, the number of servings and number of tiers.  Our minimum prices are listed below for each style of cake.

Remember, the more that's added to a cake, the more the price will increase.  A smaller sized cake with more involved artwork can be as time consuming as making a large cake with simple decorations, so the cost for the smaller more detailed cake would end up being higher.

NOTE: Madhatter (or topsy-turvy) and square cakes are more expensive than round cakes.

3D Sculpted & Novelty Cakes

Minimum order $300

3D and novelty cakes are labour intensive and often require additional internal support/structure.  3D and novelty cakes are priced by the project and the designer's hourly labour charge.

2D Cut-Out Cake

Minimum order $200

What is a 'cut-out cake'?  A cut-out cake is a 2D budget friendly design where the design/selected image is cut out from layers of fondant and layered on top of each other to create more depth and interest than a standard cake, but generally less expensive than an upright 3D cake.  The cake lies flat on the board and is cut on an angle for better forward and more dramatic presentation.

Celebration Cakes

Starting from $103 for a 5" round (8 dessert servings/16 finger servings) fondant finish designs (*delivery additional).

All celebration cakes are personalised with a message and come with candles attached to a fondant covered display board.

Delivery & Setup

Cakes by Renee is located in Brookwater, Qld. 

Delivery is available for wedding cake or multi-tier/3D cakes only.  All other orders are to be collected from Brookwater. 

Minimum charge of $50 and scaled based on distance.  You can also pick up the order from Brookwater should you wish to do so.

DEPOSIT

50% of the total order is required to secure your booking and the balance is due 1 week prior to the event.  Any orders placed within 2 weeks of the event must be paid in full at the time of ordering. 

NOTE: orders are not confirmed until a deposit is received.

Cupcake Stand Hire

$40 for 3 day hire - round clear perspex stand (up to 7 tiers high).
